Cybher is the first all inclusive female blogger event of its kind in the UK. It’s taking place on the 12th May 2012 at 8 Northumberland Avenue in the heart of London. This one-day event will bring together the most influential bloggers and speakers from all corners of the blogosphere to network, inspire, share and learn. There will be brands – brands that interest all women and not just parents and there will be content – lots of it. In fact there will be so much on offer that you will question how we managed to fit it all in. We’ve taken all of the feedback from previous blogger events we’ve been involved with and we can promise that Cybher 2012 will be more memorable in every single way.
Later this month I’m hosting a blog carnival and the subject is mental health. This is not as one wag suggested “where we all mentally get dressed in feathers and visualise with calming mood music dancing down a street”. Although I wouldn’t rule that out if it works.
What I’m talking about is mental heath or the lack thereof. Have you been affected by it – your own or other people’s?
For example, depression is astonishingly common these days, yet we still whisper about it in corners. In an entirely unscientific survey of my close female friends, I’d say all but about two are on anti-depressants.
I had/still have depression that started after my youngest son was born. I have written quite a bit about it and about how my blog helped me feel better.
It would be helpful to have the posts by 20 Jan to publish on 23 Jan. Thanks

‘One photo taken each day for 366 or each week for 52 and then shared‘
People do it on instagram, on Flickr or Photobucket. People can join the 365project site and do it (but this isn’t an official site running it) or just do it on Twitter or Facebook. It’s an organic things that has sprung out of social media and bloggers are joining in in droves.
Over on our Community Network we have a 366 and 52 Photo Project Group where any blogger joining in with either can post up their post links
Bloggers taking part will then be added to our 366 and 52 Photo Project page’s Blogroll to help fellow happy snappers find each other!
